The Frank Gehry-designed IAC building in Chelsea is famous for its trademark curvin上海贵族宝贝 上海千花网龙凤论坛g glass facade. Now, it seems, it could become better known for shedding blobs of sealant, according to a new lawsuit.

The owners of the building, a subsidiary of IAC, filed a claim against Permasteelisa North America, the company that installed the facade of the building, the New York Post reported. According to the suit, the owners of the building claim window sealant was not properly installed and is now dripping off the building’s facade in glob-like forms.

“Nearly all of the windows have significant and visible defects,” the building owners claimed. HTRF Ventures, an IAC subsidiary filed the suit in the M上海同城对对碰交友社区 上海夜网论坛anhattan Supreme Court, according to the paper.

Connecticut based-Permasteelisa was paid $18.2 million to double glaze the window panes at the building in 2006, according to the suit. They were supposed to be “hermetically sealed,” but the sealant has now begun to fail. That has left a “melting appearance on the windows, as well as discoloration, silver bubbles and fog,” court papers say.

HTRF claims it will cost $500,000 to fix the problem, and says Permasteelisa has so far ignored requests to deal with it.

The city took the first major step Monday to rezone a large swath of East Harlem in what would be the second neighborhood rezoned under the mayor s Mandatory Inclusionary Housing program.

The City Planning Commission certified a proposal to rezone a 96-block area of the neighborhood bounded by East 132nd Street to the north, East 104th Street to the south, Park Second Avenue to the east and Park Avenue to the west. Officials estimate that the rezoning cou上海千花网 爱上海同城对对碰ld create as many as 3,500 units of new housing, some of which will be permanently affordable.

It represents one more link in a chain of community engagement and activism in East Harlem, aimed上海千花网交友 上海千花网论坛 at ensuring that a much-beloved neighborhood 阿拉爱上海同城 爱上海龙凤419桑拿remains affordable, vibrant and livable, and provides economic opportunity to its residents, City Planning Commission Chair Marisa Lago said in a statement.

Monday s certification is the start of the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP), a seven-month process during which the proposal will be reviewed by Community Board 11, the borough president, City Planning 上海夜网 阿爱上海同城and the City Council. Cosmetology school inks lease at Paramount Building in 上海贵族宝贝 上海千花网龙凤论坛Midtown Christine Valmy International School will set up headquarters and school in tower

A global cosmetology school is moving into Manhattan’s famed Paramount Building.

The Christine Valmy International School has signed a 13-year lease for 24,000 square feet 阿拉爱上海同城 爱上海龙凤419桑拿in the Midtown building, where it will set up its headquarters, school and executive offices. The 33-story tower is located 上海千花网龙凤论坛 上海千花社区at 1501 Broadway between 43rd and 44th streets.

Jordan Mandel of Vanguard Global Realty represented Christine Valmy in the transaction, while an Avison Young team led by Arthur Mirante and Michael Gottlieb represented the Paramount Building’s ownership.

Several tenants have signed new leases at the Paramount in 2017, including fabric manufacturer Raymond America, Social Service Employees Union (SSEU) Local 371 and entertainment companies like Giaronomo Productions and Davenport Theatrical Enterprises.

The building recently underwent $50 million worth of renovations, which included replacing all windows and elevators and upgrading the bathrooms.

A group of celebrities including LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger has invested in Georgetown Company and Bill Ackman’s Hell’s Kitchen office building.

Georgetown also brought in music mogul Jimmy Iovine and Boston Red Sox chairman Tom Werner as investors on 787 Eleventh Avenue, the New York Post reported. The value of the investments was not disclosed.

Adam Flatto’s Georgetown Company and Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management bought the 464,000-square-foot former Ford Motor Co. building in 2015 for $255.5 million.

The National Labor Relations Board is requiring the steamfitters union to stop illegal actions against firms doing work at Hudson Yards.

Hudson Yards Construction had filed an NLRB complaint accusing Steamfitters Local 638 of going on an illegal strike at 55 Hudson Yards to try coercing contractors and companies to w阿拉爱上海同城 爱上海龙凤419桑拿ork with Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local instead, according to the New York Post.

The union will have to post notices reading, “WE WILL NOT engage in, or induce or encourage individuals employed by KSW Mechanical LLC, or any other person engaged in commerce or in an industry affecting commerce, to engage in a strike.”

New buyer picks up debt on RFR Realty’s Lever House A joint venture took over the ground lease last year

UPDATED, Jan. 31, 6:00 p.m.: A new buyer has come in and purchased the debt on Lever House at上海千花网论坛 上海千花网 390 Park Avenue — further calling into question RFR Holding s role at the property.

Documents from Jan. 18 show390 Park Debt Acquisition Corp. bought the 上海千花网 爱上海同城对对碰mortgage for an undisclosed amount, the New York Post reported. Aby Rosen’s RFR hasn’t paid the mortgage for long enough that lenders have discussed foreclosure, leaving a window for other firms to step in. There s reportedly $83 million in remaining debt on the property.

Jenel Management shares offices on the same floor of the new debt owner, but a representative or the company denied Jenel bought the debt.

Last year, Brookfield Properties and Waterman Interests took over the Lever House’s ground lease. The joint venture is leasing the property from an affiliate of Omnispective, which is run by the Korein family.

RFR defaulted on a $110 million commercial mortgage-backed securities loan for the building in March 2015. RFR, which had entered its ground lease for the property in the late 1990s, was struggling to refinance because of a rent reset. The annual ground lease rent was set to increase $20 million in 2023, a huge jump from the current $6 million. In November 2016, servicer CW Capital filed to foreclosure on the property.

Zeta Global — a unico上海千花网论坛 上海千花网rn valued at more than $1.4 billion — will move into the single-floor space this summer, the New York Post reported. The company is upgrading from its 18,000 square feet of space across five floors at 185 Madison Ave.

Zeta Global is a marketing tech company that helps brands acquire and retain more customers — using what it calls “permission-based” profiles of 750 million people globally who have opted in through its platforms. The company has raised over $250 million in funding since it was first launched in 2007 as XL Marketing.
